VISUAL ELEMENTS LTD

We’ve been working with Visual Elements for over ten years, beginning as they were looking to establish their digital presence. What started as a simple portfolio website has evolved into a comprehensive digital ecosystem that’s grown alongside their business.

THE CHALLENGE

VEL needed more than just a website – they needed a digital identity that reflected their position as innovators in the events industry. Their brand aesthetic of “dark vibes, bright lights” with copper, black, and white needed to translate into a digital experience that matched their cutting-edge approach to lighting, audio-visual, and bespoke event solutions.

OUR APPROACH

We began with a complete rebrand of the website and portfolio website designed to attract high-end clients. As their business expanded, so did our partnership:

Phase 1

Brand identity and portfolio website showcasing their design, supply, and bespoke capabilities (and bespoke visuals to match – lightbulbs that light up when you hover on them? Go for it! Video header that shows the scope of our extensive equipment and capabilities? Say no more.) 

Phase 2

Full WooCommerce equipment hire database, allowing clients to browse and hire their extensive inventory of lighting, sound, and rigging equipment. (Access is needed for our warehouse staff – no problem! Can we make it visually different from every other hire database out there? Absolutely!)

Phase 3

US expansion website with automated inventory integration via HireHop, supporting their international growth. (Can we reflect the brand but make it different? Hell yes. Can we integrate with a cloud based database? Definitely, let me work out how.) 

THE VISUAL IDENTITY

VEL’s website reflects their expertise in creating immersive experiences. We’ve incorporated:
– Custom graphics that echo their lighting expertise
– Interactive and animated elements that demonstrate their technical capabilities
– Demo videos and product showcases
– Show reels highlighting their most impressive installations
– A sophisticated dark-meets-light aesthetic with strategic copper accents

A Long-Standing Creative Partnership

The Festival Theatre came to us (too many!) years ago looking for a brand refresh and website update. What began as a simple rebrand has blossomed into a comprehensive, year-round creative partnership that spans every aspect of their digital and marketing presence.

THE CHALLENGE

As one of the longest-running open-air festivals in the South-East, The Festival Theatre needed a digital presence that captured their theatrical magic while managing the complex logistics of multiple venues, seasonal programming, and diverse audiences. Their bold pink and white aesthetic needed to translate across everything from intimate classical performances to family-friendly shows.
